MSN Messenger 7.5.0299 Final(ly) Released!

MSN Messenger 7.5 has gone public with a final build of 7.5.0299 released just yesterday. The new build is known to accept certain commands from web links such as adding a contact, starting a conversation, starting a video conversation and starting a voice conversation.

After this much-expected release, all I can say is you’re finally going to see some serious activity here as skin updates were held on pause ever since 7.5 went beta.

MSN Messenger 7.5 BETA Uncovered

Will Microsoft let us enjoy a version of MSN Messenger for a couple of months without updating ? Well I guess not, because it seems a new BETA build of MSN Messenger 7.5 is floating on the net. While I was close to finishing updates and a new skin, now I’m going to have to go back to square one. The new version, comes with a completely redesigned sign-in window and a new feature: Voice Clips similar to Messenger Plus!’s Custom Emoticon Sounds. Well yes I have been late with several updates and have set some deadlines which I didn’t comply to. To tell a little bit more about myself, I am currently in a very critical time of my life as I am on the verge of finishing high school and entering university. This phase is packed with some important life-redifining tests which are on the top of my priorities at the moment. Accordingly, I am sorry to say that this site, my skins, and some other projects will have to be put on pause for about a month or so. So I guess I won’t be finishing Longhorn MSN or updating Gant MSN in time. Updated skins will stay available for download. See you in a while 😉

Where Are The Updates ?

I am aware of how late I am in my skin updates, and I realize that some of you are becoming impatient. The reason is because I have been busy with many real-life issues, but that should be no excuse. Anyway, I have a 10-day break coming up this week so that should give me enough time or maybe even more 😉 Afterall, you know what they say: good things come to those who wait ;D

Update: I just heard that version 7.0.0803 has been leaked. It’s getting really confusing, with three versions floating around which upcoming releases. Nonetheless, I’m still working on these updates and the new slate them… I just hope we won’t be getting any new surprises!

MSN Messenger Final Released!

At last the final MSN Messenger has arrived carrying a build number of 7.0.0777.

What’s new?
The MSN Display Picture thumbnails in the contact list are smoothened.
All BETA tags and nags are removed.
A new “Welcome to MSN Messenger” popup has been added to inform you about all of its new features.

As for skins, they will be updated and posted here real soon, so if you can kindly stop spamming my inbox about it and keep track of the site 😛
